IFrameHappy UK National Cupcake Week!  I have just taken a short break to write this while I have some cakes happily baking away in the oven for this weeks orders.

I am very excited to say that the Facebook Page I spoke about the other week has now launched! I have called it Make Money With Cakes Conversation, as I want it to be a safe place where you can have a conversation with like minded cake makers.

It is a private group and only my mentoring clients, members of the online club and subscribers to the newsletter will have access.  I want to keep it as a supportive community and grow it organically so that you can get the most amount of value and importantly feel safe to ask questions and express your opinion.

I will be popping in every day and monitoring the posts. It is a new group so there may be a few teething problems while we find our feet. But it will evolveand get better and better.

I want you to feel free to ask all sorts of questions from

“What do you think of my website” or “Can you give me your honest opinion on my new facebook advert”

To life advice such as

“Can anyone offer advice on juggling a cake business and being pregnant”

And cakey questions such as

“I really want a super shiney gold edible paint, does anyone know where to get someone from?”

You can even poll the other cake makers, why not upload a cake you have just created ask

“How much do you think this cake is worth?” (I think you will be suprised with the answers)

Also use the group to find out local information such as

“Can anyone recommend a bookkeeper near me?”

And yes we will talk about hot topics, like the latest UK Great British Bake Off dramas! – We currently talking about the Mary Berry’s decision to leave the bake off tent when it moves to channel 4 next year!

So I would love for to join and be part of the community. Before I go I want to leave you with the words from one of our members which sums up the group perfectly.

“The Make Money With Cakes Conversation Facebook groups is somewhere to ask a question, get a bit of moral support during a dilemma, and receive a lovely pat on the back for a job well done!”

Happy Baking!
